Our two luxury safari tents nestle into a grassy meadow in the middle of Brocklands Farm, in the heart of the South Downs National Park. Spaced about 100 metres apart they offer seclusion, peace, comfort and amazing views.
Each tent is tastefully furnished and equipped with bed linen, towels, toiletries and general essentials needed to get you up and running with your stay. Both tents sleep 6 x people, containing 1 x king sized bed, 2 x singles and 1 x double cabin bed.
The living areas boast incredible views across the South Downs, allowing you to relax whilst enjoying the amazing scenery and nature in comfort. We use solar panels to power LED lights and a USB charging point, whilst heating is provided by the traditional wood burning stove which keeps the tents toasty warm on those chilly evenings and nights! All fire wood and kindling is provided so you do not need to worry about this when packing. Each tent houses its own bathroom, fitted with hot water on tap, powerful showers and normal flushing loos, all of which are a cut above the normal glamping experience!
The kitchen is well equipped with a small fridge along with all the cooking equipment you should need and is stocked with basics like milk, bread, eggs, tea and coffee.
Brocklands Farm is blessed with a huge choice of food, drink and activity options nearby and whilst the location is beautifully quaint and secluded it is easy to walk to West Meon Village or the area is well connected by car to venture further afield!
Brocklands Farm has something for everyone, whether you are an outdoor enthusiast, nature lover, family group or simply looking for a peaceful stay in a beautiful setting in order to switch off!
We love our safari tents! Farmers by trade we are lucky to spend our days enjoying the incredible surroundings that Brocklands Farm has to offer, as the photos rarely do it justice!
Our greatest pleasure is sharing our slice of countryside heaven, showing guests in and listening to their exclamations of delight. From the cozy furnishings and traditional stove to the luxurious bathroom we hope that everyone loves their stay and enjoys the location as much as we do!
This area of the South Downs National Park is particularly beautiful. The South Downs Way is accessible from the farm, as is the Meon Valley Trail. The picturesque village of West Meon boasts an excellent shop and butchers, along with a cafe and the popular Thomas Lord pub.
There are private paths through the farm, linking you up to many other walks and routes. We are within easy reach of Paulton's Park, the Historic Shipyard at Portsmouth, Winchester: the ancient capital of England and so many others. There's a full folder in each tent so you can get the most out of your stay, whatever the weather!
