Meet Your Hosts – Carlo & Liz Having lived just half a mile from the front gates of Bryn Llys for over 20 years, it wasn't until the summer of 2018 that we wandered down the long driveway for the very first time. Even after that short visit, we were completely hooked—captivated by the beauty, tranquillity, and character of this special place. When the opportunity to buy Bryn Llys came along, we took the plunge—with both feet! We've called Snowdonia home for more than 25 years, raising our family and working in this incredible part of the world. Along the way, we've discovered countless hidden gems and breathtaking spots we’re always happy to share with our guests. As qualified outdoor instructors, we also have extensive knowledge of local adventures and activities, from gentle walks to full-on mountain challenges—whatever the weather! We feel incredibly privileged to be the current custodians of Bryn Llys and pour our hearts into caring for and improving it, ensuring it remains a welcoming and inspiring place for generations to come. Originally established around 1820, the farmstead retains its historic charm while offering fully modernised amenities. The house and converted barn now feature five cosy bedrooms, all opening onto a covered walkway beside a serene lily pond and a picturesque courtyard garden—ideal for morning coffees or starlit evenings by the firepit. Inside, you'll find a spacious dining room that seats up to 20—perfect for shared meals and lively conversation. The fully equipped kitchen is ready for everything from simple breakfasts to hearty home-cooked feasts. After a day of exploring, the generous sitting room, with its exposed beams and inviting atmosphere, provides the perfect place to unwind. Guests also have exclusive access to 10 acres of private gardens, woodland, wildflower meadow, and a tranquil lake—all with stunning views of the surrounding landscape. With plenty of peaceful spots to sit and enjoy nature, Bryn Llys is a true haven for wildlife lovers and those seeking space to breathe.

Our location is ideal for discovering the dramatic mountains and valleys of Snowdonia, and we’re only a short drive from the stunning beaches of Anglesey and the Llyn Peninsula. For thrill-seekers, we’re just five minutes from Zip World Velocity 2, home to the longest zip line in Europe.
