We've been hosting Constable Road since boxing day 2022. a strange day to start but that is when the property was ready and we immediately got a booking. We pride ourselves on being a dog friendly property, and to date, 95% of our guests have brought their dogs, We believe that your dog needs to enjoy their holiday as much as their hoomans, and provide gift bags, towels, bowls and a cleaning area. Dogs are allowed everywhere in the property, as they would be in your own home, and we have a secure back garden which is part grass and patio area. Lots of places to sniff around and chill out on the grass.
It is truly amazing that you can be 1 row back from the beach but yet, it is so quiet, all you can hear is the sea waves and the seagulls.
This was my parents property before we started to rent it out as a holiday let, and when I used to go, all I would take are my clothes and medication. It is still the case. The bungalow is your home for the time of your break and provides everything you've got in your own home (except clothes and medication). There is a welcome grocery pack to get you through your first breakfast, and tea/coffee/milk provided, so you have a cuppa before you unpack.
Our aim is that you chill out, relax and leave us feeling like you've had a break. With many of our guests returning numerous times throughout the short time we've been open, we thing we're on the right track. When refurbishing the property, we wanted to focus on comfort and and luxury accessories. We purchased items of solid quality, so our guests (us included) wouldn't be worried about sitting on a chair and hoping it wouldn't break. It may sounds like a strange thing to say, but as plus sized hosts with joint issues, we know it is the little things that matter.
You will be able to contact us via email, text or phone and we have a local caretaker who will be able to pop round if you have any issues or questions whilst staying at the property.
Located on a quiet residential street in the traditional East Yorkshire coastal seaside town of Hornsea. 2 minutes walk to the beach and 5 minutes walking distance to the high street with shopping, restaurants, wine bars and cafes.
Parking is available for up to 2 cars at the property but there is also local bus service (at the end of the road). On street parking is also available.
One of the benefits of the property is the fact that everything is within walking distance which gives you a break from driving.
The leisure center (with swimming pool) is 2 minutes walk away and the town center is 5 minutes walk away. The Trans Pennine Trail is 5 minutes walk away and the beach is 2 minutes walk.
Hornsea is a traditional seaside dog friendly resort. It has a huge community spirit and whenever you go out, you will always find someone to talk to (if you want to). Many of the pubs, shops and cafe's in town are dog friendly as is the all year round dog friendly beach. As their are many retired people living in Hornsea, it is mobility scooter friendly and plenty of benches and seating areas, for those who are less mobile and need to rest often.
