Stepping out of the front door, a paved pathway leads to a patio area featuring a six seater al fresco dining table. alongside a barrel style barbeque. Surrounded by rockeries, shrubs and mature trees, this is a beautiful outdoor space to while away the evenings with friends or family.
With a rural location in the very heart of Ynys Môn, this beautifully renovated barn conversion set in the heart of the Anglesey countryside is centrally located to explore all the island has to offer. With rocky cliffs to the north and the Menai Strait to the south, the island's east and west coasts are dotted with lovely sandy beaches and bays. Among Anglesey's top attractions are striking lighthouses, medieval castles, and surreal copper mines. Heading south to the Menai Strait, you'll find the towns of Beaumaris and Menai Bridge. Beaumaris, a coastal town with Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian architecture is also home to the impressive Beaumaris Castle, a late 13th century fortress built by King Edward I during his conquest of Wales. With great eateries and boutique shops, Beaumaris is also the starting point for a number of boat tours from the pier taking in sights such as the nearby Puffin Island. Menai Bridge, further east, is also a popular spot for dining and drinking, as well as being home to attractions such as Rib Ride, providing high adrenalin boat trips along the Menai Strait, passing under the imposing Menai suspension bridge built by Thomas Telford in 1826 - the world's first suspension bridge.
A trip to Ynys Môn wouldn't be complete without stopping at a few lighthouses. The island's northwest corner is home to the magnificent South Stack Lighthouse and Visitor Centre, as well as an RSPB reserve where a variety of seabird colonies nest on the cliffs.
