Quietly located in a lovely rural location, this traditional, detached stone cottage in the small hamlet of Carew Newton has southerly views with the Cleddau Estuary, Carew Castle and French Tidal Mill in the distance. Tastefully renovated with a well-equipped and spacious fitted kitchen, the cottage is comfortably furnished and has exposed stone walls, beams and wooden floors. The cosy sitting room has a wood burner and Smart TV. Stairs lead from the open plan living space to the two pretty cottage bedrooms in the eaves. Enjoy a relaxing glass of wine on the sheltered, sunny paved patio with large, sloping lawned garden and orchard - lots of space for children and dogs to play. Located in the National Park, good and very scenic footpath routes go direct from the cottage with 3 local pubs, the village shop and castle cafe, Nest, within walking distance. The closest pub is the family and dog friendly, Carew Inn, just a mile down the lane or across the fields. Highly recommended!Conveniently located for a variety of nearby family attractions including Folly Farm, Heatherton World of Activities and Manor House Wildlife Park, safe sandy beaches are just a short drive away - or for the more adventurous good surfing, coasteering or great cycling and walking routes.
