We have a beautiful renovated farmhouse (ex Crown Property) set in 2 acres. The room is self contained and is light and spacious with a modern en-suite shower room. There is a large wall mounted smart TV, a king-size bed, a dining table for 2 people and a comfortable sofa. A fridge and a microwave is in the room where fresh milk, water and juice will be left but you could also chill a bottle of wine / beer if needed. Room has two large radiators linked to the main house central heating, which is controlled by a thermostat in the main house. A small electric fire is also provided in the room should this be required. The room is very warm & cosy.
2 popular dining pubs near our home get booked up so I would advise prior reservations. York City is full of restaurants to suit all tastes and boasts 365 pubs (one for every day of the year)! We are a 15 minute drive from York University campus so a great place to stay if visiting students
