Cherry Lodge is a two bedroom, dog friendly detached, holiday home situated within the grounds of a working cherry orchard with its accommodation all on the one level it comprises of one spacious double bedroom with en-suite facilities and a further twin room, its perfect for a small family or couples looking for a getaway on the Island. Located only moments away from the centre of probably the most picturesque village on the Isle Of Wight, Godshill, an ideal central base giving easy access to all of the islands many attractions, with a winding main street, lined with a number of fantastic village pubs and tea rooms serving the best local ales and delicious cream scones and jam. The village boasts some of the oldest buildings on the Isle of Wight with its own historic medieval church at the top of the hill and numerous pretty, thatched cottages.
There is something for all to enjoy, including a model village, museums, gift shops, pubs and restaurants. There are also many miles of public footpaths and countryside to explore straight from the doorstep. The island has become a real hotspot for cycling enthusiasts, with a choice of challenging off road bridleways, peaceful byways and level, purpose-made tracks running along former railway lines that are easily accessed from this location. Godshill is the quintessential English Village, and boasts some of the oldest architecture on the Isle of Wight. With its delightful medieval church, charming thatched-roofed cottages and a winding main-street lined with traditional tearooms, Godshill is as picturesque as it is popular.
