The pubs can be noisy on a warm evening and the shop compressors will be working super hard in the Summer. Go with it—enjoy the buzz. It really is a wonderful town.

Crickhowell is a small town within the Brecon Beacons. It's an outdoor lovers paradise and the town itself has much to offer. The High Street treats you to views of Table Mountain and Llangattock Escarpment - both gorgeous walks that are accessible from the front door. Shops and eateries on the High Street are all independents; no big chains here and you wouldn't need to leave Crickhowell for the entirety of your stay. We believe we have everything catered for. There are plentiful options for eating out; pubs, restaurants, coffee shops and takeaways; you'll be spoilt for choice.
Parking on the High Street is free overnight and for 1 hour during the day.
The public car park is on the road behind the Post Office approx 300 meters away. There are also several on-street parking places that are unrestricted.
During the school holidays and weekends you can usually park at the High School; they have a donation box in the car park.
