Our cottage is a newly refurbished quirky apartment. It has full central heating as well as an electric 'woodburner' style fire in the lounge.
The property was built in the 1700s and is reached via an external stone staircase. On the first floor is a lounge/diner with comfy leather sofas, wall mounted tv and a dining table with chairs for four people. Modern kitchen features oven, hob, fridge freezer, microwave and washing machine with ample storage space for food. A dedicated boot room by the front door gives space for outdoor equipment including shoes and coats. An internal staircase leads to two bedrooms, each with double beds, plus bathroom with overbath shower. Please note, beds are large and comfortable with plenty of storage and space either side but do require a little squeezing to walk around at the bottom (see pics). Situated on a peaceful close in the heart of Burntisland, you'll find a lovely beach on the doorstep as well as a plethora of independent shops, restaurants and cafes just two minutes away on the High Street. Burntisland station is 3 minutes walk, with frequent direct trains to Edinburgh, St Andrews and many Fife coastal villages.
Please note, there is onstreet parking, free from 3pm to 11am. Outside of these hours there is Links Car Park, two minutes walk from the property and this is free at all times.
As a keen traveller myself, I love to welcome guests from all over the UK and beyond. For me, there is little more exciting than finding a new place to discover, and this property combines two of my big loves - a small seaside town with easy train access to a vibrant capital city.
Although I will not be at the property during your stay, I am happy to answer any questions you may have.
