The Old Post Office is a cosy and characterful studio annexe, ideal for couples looking to explore the New Forest. Set within the grounds of a historic home that once served as a wheelwright’s workshop, bakery, and post office in the 1830s, it offers charm and comfort in equal measure. The open-plan space includes a double bed, a well-equipped kitchen with electric cooker, ceramic hob, microwave and fridge, a Freeview TV, and a modern shower room with cubicle shower and toilet. Oil central heating, Wi-Fi, bed linen, towels and a welcome pack are all included. Outside, guests have access to a shared 1-acre grounds, and secure bike storage. Please note, the property is located next to a main road, so there may be some traffic noise, though this is rarely an issue. Parking for one car is provided on site.

Perfectly positioned between Salisbury and Ringwood, The Old Post Office sits opposite the New Forest National Park, making it an ideal base for walkers, cyclists and nature lovers. The charming riverside town of Fordingbridge is just a mile away and offers shops, cafés, and pubs. Nearby attractions include the New Forest Water Park, Moors Valley Country Park with its treetop adventures and miniature railway, and the beautiful coastline at Bournemouth and Poole. Cultural and historic gems like Salisbury Cathedral, Stonehenge, and Beaulieu Motor Museum are all within easy reach, offering plenty to explore during your stay.
