Coverdale was built in 1923 and is a proud looking double fronted house. Apartment 5 is on the ground floor and boasts two original fireplaces (both now purely decorative), plus original floorboards in two rooms and a private courtyard garden, that comes alive with birdsong in the warmer months.
To the front of the property there is an allocated off road parking space (on the right when looking at the property), Your own front door takes you into the entrance hall., which all rooms lead off of.
The spacious light bedroom gets the morning sun. It's big enough for a cot and Z bed, both of which we provide free (we have bedding for the Z Bed but please bring your own for the cot).
The shower room is complete with a rainwater shower as well as a handheld one.
The large kitchen diner leads to the lounge which flows out the double doors into the courtyard, which looks towards a wood.
Depending on your length of stay we provide different hampers. All stays get tea & coffee and a pack of Moores biscuits made 5 miles away, Dorset.

Hello and welcome to our little retreat on the famous World Heritage coastline of Dorset. Our apartment is not in the middle of the high street but nestled a short stroll along the river, in a quiet spot, between country and sea.
My wife and I grew up in the area of Lyme Regis and now live in the neighbouring village of Uplyme, so we know the area extremely well. If you would like any information before (or during) your stay please message me.
We’re very proud of our apartment and wish to continue making it somewhere special for our guests to stay. However, everyone's idea of wonderful is different so please feedback anything else we can do. We really hope you have a wonderful time with us in Lyme Regis.
The historic seaside town of Lyme Regis is nestled in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty at the point where the rugged West Dorset and East Devon coastlines meet – the heart of the Jurassic Coast. The town and the surrounding area are renowned for their natural beauty, and it has a fascinating history stretching back to the 8th century. Lyme Regis is in a Valley, so please expect some hills!
Lyme Regis has had many famous people live in or be inspired by it, but is most well known for being the birthplace of Mary Anning, one of history’s most important fossil collectors and palaeontologists.
If you’re looking for; a spacious but cosy accommodation, in a quiet location but within an easy stroll of the high street, seafront and countryside then Coverdale is the retreat for you.
