Recently refurbished and modernly styled spacious (130sqm /1400sqft) apartment connected to a Country House that dates back 500 years.
Originally a rectory sits on the top of the hill close to the ancient hamlet Bradstone, West Devon with incredible views over country fields and the valleys between Bodmin moor and Dartmoor.
The property consists of 20 acres of fields for the horses and dogs, gardens and a large outdoor dining area with a firepit.
We have our own borehole for brilliant fresh and tasty water.
Quiet and remote yet close to everything Devon and Cornwall has to offer
Ours is a private family property. Your accommodation is the only rented accommodation on the property. Exact location details including a map and parking marked out will be forwarded in time prior your arrival.
Dogs are very welcome but only if prior- & on arrival instructions are followed, provided they (male dogs) are no longer entire and are used to being social with other dogs. We reserve our right to decline dogs on booking in case we will not be home (to supervise interaction with our own dogs). Guest's dog/s is/are kept strictly at the responsibility of the guests. The house shower must not be used for dogs. There is an animal hot water shower on the yard outside
Fresh artisan bread, whole milk, butter, spread butter, fresh local farm eggs plus further essentials will be provided on your arrival. Kindly let us know if you have any preferences.

We were breeding German Hanoverian horses as a hobby /business until some years ago. We still have several horses of different ages on the property. Focus is currently on my business and training activities. The area, particularly Tavistock, has a large triathlon (biking, swimming, running) community. There is also an elite swimming centre open to the public
We are based near Launceston/Tavistock between Dartmoor & Bodmin Moor with plenty of good restaurants, cafe's, pubs, trail visiting & biking wildlife areas, etc. River Tamar is only 800m from the property. Tamar Trails Centre (25K of trails) is close. South West Coast Path (1.000K) is not far away. Many North Cornwall beaches (surfing etc) are 30-45 miles away
