About this property

Welcoming couples and families, this superb Hotel is situated in a quiet location, a few minutes’ walk from Torquay seafront, the town centre, Torre Abbey and the English Riviera Conference Centre. The hotel provides free car parking, a large private garden, an outdoor heated swimming pool (seasonal). The breakfast room is decorated in a distinctive fashion, with views over the garden and to the sea. All of the spacious bedrooms have en suite facilities and are totally non-smoking. They are decorated to an excellent standard, including quality beds and furnishings. Breakfast includes specials and homemade items, always using high-quality ingredients and fresh local produce.

Couples particularly like the location — they rated it 9.1 for a two-person trip.

The Elmington Hotel is situated conveniently close to the seafront, within walking distance of Torquay's town centre. The hotel has 19 beautifully appointed, spacious rooms, many of which have sea or park views. The hotel is located close to the conference centre, Torre Abbey and Cockington Country Park. It is conveniently situated for rambling and walking holidays. Built originally as a residence to the Cockington Estate, the Elmington Hotel has changed little over the years. It has recently been refurbished to an exceptionally high standard throughout, combining 21st Century facilities with 19th Century grandeur. Great care has been taken to create an interior which compliments the architecture of the building. It is an ideal base for exploring the many attractions nearby and plenty of parking is available.

The hotel is located in a quiet residential part of Torquay within 200 yards of the seafront and 15 minute level walk to Torquay along the seafront.
