Stuart has worked hard to create a unique destination venue, where guests can enjoy the rural surroundings, if not here working to greet you will find his friendly staff or family there to meet you over the stay. He enjoys spending time on the local golf course where he is also the club chairman and having travelled extensively with work enjoys meeting guests from around the world.
House of Elrick is most famous for its on site distillery where Stuart the owner makes the award winning Gin, if you are here during the week stuart will gladly give you a tour.
Newmachar is a village in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, about 10 miles (16 km) to the north-west of Aberdeen.
The settlement has a long history previously being known as Summerhill within the parish of New Machar, later being renamed Newmachar. Some buildings retain the split name "New Machar" to this day including the primary school and church.
The population, approximately 2,500 is served by one shop, two public houses, a primary school, a bowling club and, a football club.
