I look forward to welcoming you to Estuary View at Parkland. My partner and I live on the site in a separate building, so we’re always nearby if you need a hand or would like any local tips during your stay — and of course, your privacy is always respected.
Having lived here for many years, I know all the best local spots — from charming country walks and cosy pubs to hidden gems and must-see attractions. Whether you’re after a great place to eat, a scenic route to explore, or ideas for a relaxing day out, I’m always happy to share recommendations to help you make the most of your stay.
Please note: Garden View is set on an AA Five Platinum Star-rated touring site (Adults Only & No Dogs), offering a peaceful, relaxing, and beautifully kept environment for everyone to enjoy.

Estuary View – Cosy Shepherd’s Hut with Stunning View towards the Estuary
Nestled in the heart of the beautiful South Hams countryside, just one mile from Kingsbridge, Estuary View offers a picturesque glamping escape. Perfect for two, this charming Shepherd’s Hut combines rustic charm with modern comfort.
Inside, you’ll find a comfortable 5ft double bed and a cosy sofa, ideal for relaxing after a day exploring the coast and countryside.
Just a few steps from the hut, you’ll have exclusive use of your own private mini kitchen, shower, and toilet. Please note: these facilities are not inside the hut, so you’ll need to step outside to access them—but they’re yours alone throughout your stay.
Step out onto the spacious decked area, fire up the gas BBQ, and unwind while soaking up the breathtaking views towards the Kingsbridge and Salcombe Estuary. Private parking is also provided for your convenience.
Whether you're walking the South West Coast Path, discovering local beaches, or enjoying award-winning pubs and fine dining nearby, Estuary View is the perfect base to explore this stunning area within the South Devon National Landscape.

Estuary View is perfectly placed to explore everything this stunning Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty has to offer.
Take in the breathtaking scenery along the South West Coast Path, spend leisurely days on the beautiful sandy beaches of Bantham, Thurlestone, and Hope Cove, or discover the history and charm of Totnes and Dartmouth. From quaint villages to a wide variety of attractions and outdoor activities, there’s something here for everyone to enjoy.
The local area offers an excellent choice of pubs, cafés, and restaurants. If you prefer not to cook in Garden View’s convenient mini kitchen, you’ll find plenty of welcoming places to dine out nearby.

Easy Travel & Connections
Getting around couldn’t be simpler. The nearest bus stop is right at the site entrance, with direct services to Totnes (where you can connect to the English Riviera and Exeter) and Kingsbridge, where onward travel to Salcombe, Dartmouth, and Plymouth is easy.
An inland footpath leads directly into Kingsbridge if you fancy a walk, and local taxi services are available on request for added convenience.
