Comfy and compact, Fat Pete’s Pod sits separately in our garden here in Sprowston, a quiet suburb of the City Of Norwich.
Guests have their own access to the pod via a lockable side gate, which is secure with separate access lighting at night-time. Guests are welcome to park their car directly by the gate.
The pod is entirely self-contained with steps up to lockable double-fronted patio doors. Inside, the pod is fully-insulated, with an electric radiator to keep you nice and toasty if the temperature has dropped outside. The open plan bedroom has a kitchen space with a fridge and microwave oven. We provide cutlery and crockery, as well as a toaster and kettle. We also provide linen and hypoallergenic duvet and pillows.
The bathroom comprises sink, toilet and shower stall, with a heated towel rail.
The TV has internet access and there is also free Wifi, as well as USB charger points.
There is a poser table with 2 stools inside the pod, as well as a patio table and chairs outside.
A fence on the border of the pod space gives added privacy.
The Pod is powered by solar energy, generated by the panels on the bungalow.

Fat Pete’s is located in a tranquil residential crescent in Sprowston - a quiet suburb of the City of Norwich. There is a Co-op convenience store nearby which is open daily.The City Centre is easily accessible either by car or bus.
Norwich is a fabulous city with the highest number of medieval churches north of the Alps! Norwich Market has 190 stalls which are open Monday - Saturday (some also open on Sunday). In addition to the high street multiples, Norwich is also home to Jarrold’s Department Store. There is also a branch of John Lewis. The Norwich Lanes are a mix of independent artisan shops, bars and restaurants. The Cathedral is a ‘must see’.
Norwich Theatre plays host to a fabulous mix of the performing arts.
Norwich City Football Club (owned by Delia Smith) play at Carrow Road.
Wroxham (the ‘Capital of the Norfolk Broads’) is 7 miles away. There's plenty of things to do in the Broads during your visit - discover wonderful woodlands and waterways and superb seaside locations - all within 20 miles of Fat Pete’s.
Fat Pete’s is also convenient if you’re visiting family who are studying at UEA.
Norwich International Airport is just 10 minutes away.
