Failte Mhor is a modest, immaculately presented, recently renovated, modern and comfortable end terraced property located within a Fort William housing estate.
It is a self catering property available to book for adults or families with children older than 7 years old.
Failte Mhor has a spacious lounge and kitchen. The kitchen contains a hob, microwave, air fryer, kettle, toaster, dishes, crockery and dishwasher. NO OVEN.
There is a small decked area to the front of the house in the garden and an outdoor eating area to enjoy the warm, summer evenings.
The house boasts secure storage sheds for anyone travelling with bicycles / skis, walking equiment, etc. The sheds are covered by 24hr CCTV but note that anything left in sheds is entirely at the owners risk.
The house is dog friendly for a maximum of 2 dogs (prior permission must be sought from the owner). As such, it may not be suitable for those with pet allergies.
There is a secure garden to the rear for the dogs complete with warm water "doggie shower".
Any damages caused by pets will be charged to the card that secured the original booking.
You will be required to complete a digital registration form 24hrs prior to your arrival. The form will ask you to log details of all guests over the age of 16yrs old who will be resident at the property alongside their home address and passport numbers. This is required to comply with the "Immigration (Hotel Records) Act 1972". A copy of the law which applies is available on the UK Government website.
I have been welcoming guests in my capacity as a guest house host for around 5 years. I enjoy meeting with people from many places and cultures. I work full time during the day and therefore check ins at my place cannot be as flexible as a hotel or a traditional guest house. Guests can check in at my place between 17:00 hrs and 21:00 hrs and must provide an intended time of arrival by midday (12:00 hrs) on the day of check in to ensure I can plan to be at the property to meet you later in the day. I do not live on site so this is most important.
The house is located in a quiet, friendly housing estate on the edge of Fort William. The houses are modest terraced housing but offer a perfect base for exploring. There is ample, free street parking outside.
The closest supermarket is a 2 minute walk.
The bus stop is a 2 minute walk.
Banavie train station is a 10 minute walk.
Nearby (within a 5 minute walk) you will find a laundrette, a post office, an ATM, a hairdresser, a pharmacy, two cafes, a chip shop, a chinese takeaway and the awkward eater take away which caters for speciality diets like gluten free / vegan / vegetarian, etc
