A charming 2/3 bedroom penthouse apartment located within a converted Victorian warehouse in the historical Gloucester dockland within walking distance of the Quays leisure centre. The apartment is located on the 5th floor. A lift will take you to the 4th floor with a small staircase up to the apartment. The apartment has a wealth of original features including exposed beams brickwork and ironwork, Please note there is restricted head room in parts of the property, this includes the single bedroom that is off the double room and this also adds character to the property. The apartment has views towards the docks basin and surrounding countryside. The city centre and Gloucester Cathedral are only a 5 minute walk away. You will find many tourist attractions in and around the docks area including the National Waterways museum which is located opposite the apartment building. There are numerous pleasure boat trips that leave the docks everyday. You will also find many well known eateries in and around the Quays leisure quarter. The Gloucester docks is host to many seasonal events including the world renowned tall ships festival.
To the south of the main docks area is the Gloucester Quays designer outlet centre, which has an outstanding mix of high street and designer labels, with an array of eateries and waterfront bars. Moving into the city you will find Gloucester cathedral and a number of independent shops and boutiques. Gloucester bus station provides regular services to all the surrounding suburbs. The train station is within 1.5 miles and offers direct lines to London.
