Hi there, We are brothers, Rob & Mark, owners of The Fountains Guesthouse now part of 'Harrogate Stays'. With the help of a great team, we aim to provide the quality of products and level of service that we would hope to receive ourselves when staying away from home. Rainfall showers, unlimited fibre wifi, comfy beds, fluffy towels, on-site parking are standard as far as we are concerned! We both have young families so operate using smart locks for check-ins allowing guests to arrive under their own steam if we're not around. For breakfast, we have sourced the best possible local ingredients, allowing our chefs Glenn and Michael, to prepare a fantastic breakfast for you to start your day. Sue or Monika will be serving your breakfast and we look forward to hosting you! We do have other self-catered properties in Harrogate & Knaresborough under the brand name, Harrogate Stays. Property information

The Fountains was built in 1896 and is a lovely old Victorian townhouse. All the rooms and communal areas have been fully redecorated over the last four years and we hope that even though there is a modern feel to our rooms, we have still complimented the age of our beautiful house. Every room has an en suite bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities with fresh cold milk, complimentary chocolates and biscuits and toiletries for your comfort. The house has a guest lounge with a fridge, a television to settle down to a good movie after a great meal out and large comfy sofas to relax in. Our breakfast room seats 18. We are unusual in having private parking for 4 to 5 cars and we offer free parking in the streets around the house with complimentary parking permits. Naturally, the best WiFi facilities are also available free of charge.

Harrogate is a beautiful place to live and to visit. It is full of green, wide open spaces, thriving independent shops and top quality restaurants. There is something for everyone here and we are sure you will have a wonderful time during your stay here. The surrounding area is a place of great natural beauty and you are in the Dales and the North Yorkshire Moors in no time.
