Hi we are Julie & Mikael, we recently bought Glenholme Guesthouse. We met 29 years ago in Thailand, while working in Phuket as scuba diving instructors and have since worked and lived in Egypt, Greece and Saint Lucia before returning to the UK 9 years ago. Having lived and worked by the coast for many years we just missed the fresh sea breeze and running on the beach, so we decided to take the plunge (yet again) and sold our home and businesses, packed up our belongings and set off down the motorway for our new life in Scarborough. Glenholme is a 200 year old building and it's located in-between the North and the South bay. Its a great location and most local attractions can be explored by foot. ​ Glenholme is one of Scarborough’s best-positioned Guest House and at the moment includes 6 en-suite rooms, some with sea views, spotlessly clean, each room has been decorated in a modern relaxed style, so you completely unwind with your feet up watch tv and have a tea or coffee from our complimentary selection. ​ The building is 200 years old and we are lucky in that the architecture of the Georgian Building is stunning, with high ceilings and large windows, so the décor is simple to allow the features to shine through.

Great location close to town, open air theatre, local markets and shops, bars and restaurants, tourist attractions, Peasholm Park, Alpamare water park.
