Godden Green B&B is situated in Apse Heath-Sandown,has recently been renovated to a high standard,both rooms have their own en-suite shower,little Kitchenette with Kettle,,Toaster,Cafeteria,Sandwich Maker,Microwave, The rooms have everything in them to make them self contained so you could easily spend 2 nights or 7 nights it’s up to you! We provide Bed Linen,Towels,Tea,Coffee,Sugar,Milk,Tea Towels,Toilet Rolls and Toiletries.There is also a little Welcome Basket with Something Sweet,Something Savoury,Something To Drink. You have your own key to your room and the front door so you can come and go as you please with ample free parking on our drive. The rooms are pet free (yes we have a little dog but he’s never been allowed in the rooms & they are smoke free). We are conveniently situated only a few meters from the No 8 Bus stop which has a regular (1 hr or 1/2 hr during the Summer)service to Sandown or Newport where the main bus station is. We have somewhere where we could store Bikes over night if needed. We do provide you with breakfast (In a Basket) it is a continental Breakfast (Bread or Crumpets,Individual Wrapped Pastries,Jams,Marmalade,Butter,Yogurt,Milk,Cereal,Fresh Fruit & Juice) will be in your room on arrival so you can eat at your own time/leisure! There is also an outside seating area for you to have a cuppa or just chill and read a book!

Hi,We (myself-“Charlie,my husband Neil and our 2 children Maisie & Eddie as well as our little Dog -Teddy) have recently relocated to this beautiful island from a small village near Oxford on the Mainland. We wanted to be able to have slower pace of life-we have always wanted to do a B&B which is why we have opened up 2 rooms in our home to guests. There are many interesting and varied cycle routes around and as I said we can safely store cycles away if needed! Apse Heath is a peaceful place,we are just set back off Alverstone road and are surrounded with open fields- there is a Red Squirrel Walk about 5 minutes from us. We have a little shop at the end of our road which is open from 8am till 6.30pm 7 days a week if you needed anything.The main stores are only a 5 minute drive away as is the Beach only 10 Minute Drive away which is either Sandown or Shanklin.
