Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. The shepherd's hut is set among fruit trees in a quintessentially beautiful Cotswold valley. Perfect for a romantic get away and central to many of the Cotswolds most famous villages. Enjoy walking, sightseeing, country pubs with great food and log fires. Green Valley is very cosy, central heated and extremely well insulated. It has its own bathroom, kitchen and private garden with a sun-trap seating area.
We have been welcoming guests to the Cotswolds for 13 years now and recently added our shepherd's hut to provide affordable accommodation where you can cook in your own holiday home, whilst enjoying all the rural beauty that surrounds us.
We are in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with fabulous walking and biking from the door. Chedworth is a quintessential Cotswold village with traditional limestone built cottages with stonesfield slate roofs. It has three pubs within walking distance. The valley has the Coln River running through it and our village church at one end.
Shrove Cottage is in a rural position. Buses are infrequent. The nearest train stations are Kemble and Kingham. A list of local taxi companies is available on request. Most guests find it is best to come by car.
