A lovely spacious 2 bedroom, fully equipped apartment at Haytor with fabulous views from all windows with direct access to the open Moor, perfect for walking, hiking and exploring. A light and airy space, the apartment has all the facilitities you need in a quiet area where you can enjoy open Moorland directly on your doorstep. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area for four people where you can enjoy views of Haytor Rocks itself. A comfortable lounge with three two seater sofas, with double aspect views to the sea and TV and DVD player. One of the sofas is a sofa bed. The master bedroom is spacious with a king size bed and three fitted wardrobes with the second bedroom having two single beds. There is a fully equipped utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board. And a shower room with power shower, and a separate toilet. You have use of the entire apartment. However, the communal garden area is not available to use. This shouldn’t be a problem as you have direct access to open Moor just yards away.

PLANNING YOUR STAY - A publication is produced by Dartmoor National Park can be found by visiting their website. There are a number of maps and information leaflets of things to do at the apartment and the Haytor Dartmoor National Park Visitor Centre is a few minutes walk from the apartment. LOCAL RESTAURANTS/CAFÉ’s MOORLANDS HOTEL- The Moorlands Hotel is a 2 minute walk from the apartment. Excellent for breakfast and food all day long. Pre-booking for the following is always best as they are all incredibly popular: THE ROCK INN – The Rock Inn is a traditional 18th century inn in Haytor Vale, the Rock Inn, a 7 minute walk which is perfect for a cosy, romantic lunch or dinner. ULLACOMBE FARM - A lovely breakfast and lunches can also be had at Ullacombe Farm. If it is your birthday, they offer a free breakfast (subject to ID verification). THE RUGGLESTONE INN – Located in Widecombe in the Moor, a 3 mile walk/drive across the moor, the Rugglestone is a cosy 18th century pub with great food and a large garden area. THE CARPENTERS ARMS - Located in Ilsington, a 2 mile walk/drive down from Haytor Vale, the Carpenters Arms is a proper village pub full of friendly locals who welcome visitors. SPA at the ILSINGTON HOTEL As well as lovely place to eat or enjoy a drink on the patio, the Ilsington Hotel (1 mile away) also has a wonderful spa with heated indoor pool, hydrotherapy pool, steam room, sauna and well equipped fitness suite. Day passes are available and treatments are available to book.
