Located 4.1 km from Derwentwater in Keswick, Hermiston Guest House features free WiFi access, free private parking and a first-floor terrace overlooking the garden. Scenic trails can be taken from the property's doorstep, and the fells of Barrow and Latrigg are both within 6.4 km. Phil and Helen look forward to welcoming you to our wonderful home in the beautiful Lake District. We are known for our friendly and relaxed manner as we have been in the service industry for much of our lives. Having spent most of our lives in Hampshire as professional photographers we decided to move to Cumbria to fulfil our enjoyment of the outdoors and love of rural settings. We truly enjoy being hosts for this amazing guesthouse bed and breakfast and the Keswick countryside. We can offer a relaxing day reading on the terrace or in our cosy guest lounge. Or you can enjoy a more active day of walking, cycling or exploring the many local picturesque village tearooms. Either way, we love to show off the natural beauty of the area and endeavour to make your stay relaxing, comfortable and fun.
Plan your day's activities or simply relax and do nothing. Whichever you decide we'll help you to get the most from your stay in the Lake District, to enjoy your time with us and to leave relaxed and refreshed. Take a romantic countryside walk, visit the theatre by the lake, learn to sail or kayak, try climbing, watercolour painting or a photography course: Dust off your old road or mountain bikes, or fetch your riding hat and boots from the shed and enjoy all that the spectacular Lake District has to offer. There’s plenty to do, whatever the weather, so come and join us?
