Kilnhanger is a quirky and distinctive hilltop house located at the very top of Marley Heights in Kingsley Green, just outside Haslemere. Set in the clouds with far-reaching views across the South Downs and Cowdray Park, this peaceful vantage point offers the perfect escape from the everyday. Surrounded by woodland and walking trails, it’s an ideal base for walkers, nature lovers, and those attending Goodwood or Cowdray Park Polo Club.
Spread across three spacious floors, Kilnhanger combines comfort and character with panoramic scenery. The open-plan kitchen and dining area includes a large table that seats ten and a new Beko range cooker with five ceramic hobs and double ovens — perfect for cooking together. The bright sitting room has generous sofas, a 50-inch Smart TV, and sliding doors that open onto the balcony, where guests can dine, read, or simply enjoy the views.
The garden below the balcony provides plenty of space for children and dogs to play, and the property welcomes pets. Bedrooms are arranged across all floors, giving privacy for groups or families, and the house sleeps up to ten guests comfortably. With three bathrooms, Wi-Fi throughout, and easy access to Fernhurst, Petworth, and the South Coast, Kilnhanger offers a relaxed and memorable stay high above the hills — a true house in the clouds.

You will have the house to yourself, there is text and phone assistance and help nearby in the event that someone is needed to attend the house.
Marley Heights is a quiet hilltop community set just above Kingsley Green, offering sweeping views of the South Downs and direct access to some of the area’s best walking routes. From your front door, you can step straight into nature — ideal for walking, running, or cycling through the beautiful Surrey Hills countryside.
The house is on the outskirts of Haslemere, close to Weyhill and Fernhurst, with Midhurst and the Cowdray Park Polo Club only a 15-minute drive away. Despite its peaceful, elevated setting, Kilnhanger is well connected for exploring nearby market towns, historic estates, and country pubs.
As the property sits at the top of a hill, a car is recommended unless you’re happy to use taxis, delivery services, or enjoy a good walk. There is ample parking at the property (please note the driveway is on a slope). Remote enough to feel private, yet just a short drive to shops, cafés, and local amenities.
