Our Cosy and comfortable converted Courtyard Bedrooms are located on the grounds of Hilston Park Estate, set in the idyllic rolling hills of Monmouthshire.
The Courtyard Rooms have been modernised to suit those wanting a more contemporary feel while retaining the History & heritage of the Former Stables & boat house.
Set between River Wye & The Black Mountains, Hilston Park has been standing tall in the Welsh countryside for Centuries. Over the Years it as been used for countless events & activities and it is well known and loved by the locals due too its beauty and the many happy memories made here. Here at Hilston Park, we don't only have the regal Main House we have acres of meadow and woodlands to be explored.

Hilston Park has probably got one of the best sites in Monmouthshire. It stands in the Parish of St Maughan's, 6 miles north-east of the country town of Monmouthshire.
To the East is the the boundary  with the county of Herefordshire, marked by the River Monnow. Llangattock-Vibon-Avel lies to the South-West of the house, with Skenfrith to the North-East. 
The village of Skenfrith is a stone throw away where you will find the famous Ruins of Skenfrith Castle. The fortification was established by the Normans in the wake of the invasion of England in 1066. These preserved ruins of a 13th Century castle lies on the side of the River Monnow with benches and picnic spots and access to lovely area for walks.
Approximately 6 miles away you will find the Countryside Town of Monmouthshire, the uk's first Bee Town, nestles in the tranquil lower reaches of beautiful Wye Valley and has been a centre for tourism since 1780. 
Monmouth houses a variety of restaurants to suit all tastes and a number of popular spots to stop to have a coffee.
Not forgetting the neighbouring Market Towns of both Abergavenny and Ross on Wye, which are also both worth a visit during your stay here with us. Here you will find a number of Picturesque walks & Site seeing spots including the Famous Symonds Yat.
