Hoole is Chester’s favourite suburb. Less than 10 minutes walk from Chester train station and a short scenic walk along the canal into Chester’s city centre (or a few minutes in a taxi). Hoole has everything you need - brilliant restaurants, pubs and bars as well as local coffee shops, greengrocers, florist and butchers. Chester’s historic city centre is well known for it’s Roman history. Take a walk around the walls, Roman gardens or have a seat in the amphitheatre or the beautiful Grosvenor park. Chester is full of a fabulous coffee shops, wine bars, pubs and restaurants - let me know if you need any recommendations. If you are planning a more active break there are plenty of amazing places to walk either in Chester or in the surrounding area such as Delamere, Sandstone Trail, North Wales coast or Snowdonia.
