Allhallows is a quiet village with a few essential shops, takeaways, a doctors surgery and a school. The Fish & Chip/Kebab shop delivers to the caravan site which is very handy. It is well worth a visit to historic Rochester which has the best restaurants, wonderful cocktails, and an oldie-worldie feel. Rochester High Street is full of culture and history. It is a foodies paradise, and you will also find some amazing cocktails. There is plenty of history to take in, a lot of it related to Charles Dickens. There is also the castle, please watch the film “Ironclad” for the history of it, and the Cathedral. There are a couple of museums as well as the Six Poor Travellers House, and Eastgate House. You will find good links to London from Rochester or Strood train stations.
