26 Kirkwood Drive is a beautiful 4-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom three story townhouse situated a 20-minute walk away from Durham City Centre. The property faces onto Ustinov College and there is also a playing field at the back of the property which would be suitable for children. The property is perfect for groups and families with local bars and restaurants just a short distance away. Durham City Centre is around 15 minutes’ walk from the property though there is an Italian restaurant at Nevilles Cross and a pub serving food called The Duke of Wellington. On entry is a hallway leading to the first bedroom which includes a double bed and open wardrobe. A fully equip kitchen follows including all the essentials you will need during your stay including utensils, toaster, microwave, dishwasher, a fridge, and a freezer. There is also an extendable dining table in the kitchen which seats up to 8 people. Next to the kitchen is a utility room with washing machine and additional sink. The ground floor also includes a sperate toilet room. To the first floor is a large lounge area with a TV and a DVD Player as well as a large sofa. Following is a light and airy twin bedroom with wardrobes and bedside table. On the second floor is the master bedroom with a zip and link bed which can either be made up as a super king bed or two single beds. The master bedroom also benefits from an ensuite with toilet and shower. Next to the master bedroom is another light and sleek double bedroom with ample hanging space in the cupboards and a chest of drawers. Also on this floor is a family bathroom with bath and overhead shower. To the rear of the property is a secure back garden with garden furniture.
