Thornhill Cabin is a new addition to our very private quiet and peaceful site, we have a holiday lodge which sleeps 2 people and the new Cabin which sleeps 2, both have their own private hot tub, the Cabin has all the mod cons you would expect for a lovely break away .Very comfortable king size bed ,settee, table and chairs. Kitchen with gas hob ,air fryer, kettle and toaster. Very nice bathroom with shower sink and toilet .The Cabin is modem and nicely decorated. Out side there are lovely views of the surrounding countryside, and the local hills Dufton pike and the Pennines. You have the garden to enjoy and the ,terrace with table and chairs, hot tub to relax in peace and quiet.

We have run our holiday lodge in Long Marton Appleby-In-Westmorland for the past few years .We are passionate about giving our guests a special and personal experience with little extra touches .We are on hand if you need anything during your stay, but we also give you your privacy.

Long Marton is a small quiet village in the beautiful Eden valley area ,close to the historic town of Appleby-In-Westmorland with its beautiful River Eden, Appleby Castle, Railway with the famous Settle to Carlisle line you may even see the odd steam train on this historic railway.. local market town of shops cafes ,pubs and restaurants. We are close to Penrith a larger town with supermarkets. The Lake District is also on our door step with Pooley Bridge, Ullswater Lake, .Keswick, Carlisle. The Scottish Borders. And The Yorkshire Dales are also close by. So lots of attractions on our doorstep. Walking is one of the many activities with part of the Pennine Way, Dufton Pike, High Cup Nick, Murton Pike,all on our door step, as well as the Lake District mountains close by. . , Cycling is popular we are close to the coast to coast cycle route. Or just enjoy the surroundings in this hidden gem of Long Marton.Our local country pub The Masons Arms with its log burner ,locally sourced food,and lovely friendly atmosphere. We also have a bakery where you can buy pies cakes ,or drive 10 minutes to Appleby for more shops cafes pubs and restaurants, and it's Castle and River walk.
