It is likely that you will liaise with Bel throughout the booking experience and also be met by her on arrival in our reception area as well as her being your main point of contact throughout your stay. Situated in Southsea, our beautiful Victorian guesthouse offers 4 upmarket boutique suites. We believe our accommodation fills a gap within the market having all the comforts of a modern hotel (inc. free WiFi, flat screen TV, hotel standard beds and quality furnishings) and also modest self catering facilities. Each suite features a kitchenette with microwave/oven and refrigerator. The living area has a Smart TV (inc. Netflix). All our suites are newly renovated with great style and attention to detail, finished in 2018. There is a shared laundry area. Our guesthouse has an excellent location, being in close proximity to Southsea seafront promenade and beach as well as being just off the well known Albert Road. To celebrate the history of Portsmouth and each suite has been named and designed after its well-known residents. Among those honoured are the creator of Sherlock Holmes, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, acclaimed writer and poet, Rudyard Kipling, the comedian Peter Sellers and the world famous author Charles Dickens. Our 2 bedroom suites are perfect for families, the 1 bedroom delux suite and our deluxe studio are best suited for couples or business guest.

Situated 15 minutes walk from the glorious Southsea sea front and 5 minutes to the vibrant Albert Road with an array of restaurants, pubs and coffee shops as well as the Edwardian Kings Theatre built in 1907. The Historic Dockyard and Gunwharf Quay (Outlet shopping with bars and restaurants) is 10 minutes away by car or taxi or alternatively there is a bus stop just a few minutes from the building. In near proximity you can also find The Pyramids Centre Swimming Pool and Gym , skate park, D –day Museum and Southsea Castle. The Canoe Lake park is close by which is a great area for kids (approx. 10 min walk away) .
