The Lookout at Lauriston is owned by the Way family who have been running hotels and self catering properties for more than 20 years. In addition to this apartment we have two apartments in the heart of Dartmouth town Merchants Rest and Merchants Rise.

The Lookout at Lauriston is perfectly located to enjoy Dartmouth and all it has to offer. Featuring two double bedrooms, two bathrooms, family kitchen and a lounge with balcony, it has everything you need for a relaxing break away. The bedrooms can be made as doubles or twins and there is also an additional fold out single bed. Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement (max 2) for an additional £20 per, dog, per night. We will provide a dog bed and treats. Free onsite parking means you can leave your car and take the short picturesque walk to the town. Here you will find a plethora of independent shops, galleries, restaurants, cafes and pubs. You can enjoy walks out to Dartmouth Castle or perhaps a boat trip or even take the passenger ferry to Kingswear and board a steam train. Nearby you can discover beautiful beaches such as Blackpool Sands or slightly further afield Bantham.

Dartmouth is a renowned coastal town on the River Dart with a strong naval background. It has charming cobbled streets, stylish independent shops, many galleries, and cosy cafes and restaurants serving exceptional local produce. You can explore the South West coastal paths, spend the day at award winning beaches, visit heritage sites such as Dartmouth Castle or National Trust properties such as Greenway and Coleton Fishacre or simply sit and watch the boats on the river.
