Palais des Vaches, an inspirational art gallery with a calendar of art workshops, is only a very short saunter.
For more treats, head five miles to picture-postcard Beaulieu, one of the country’s most beautiful villages. Enjoy riverside views, Beaulieu Motor Museum, Palace House, free-roaming donkeys, and a charming High Street with boutiques, cafes, and a chocolate studio. Take a scenic walk to Buckler’s Hard, the historic boat-building village with pubs and waterside dining.
East of Exbury, Lepe Country Park offers a breezy beach and café with views across the Solent to the Isle of Wight. For a country pub, try The Royal Oak three miles away, welcoming muddy boots, dogs, and horse riders. Brockenhurst and Lymington are both around 11 miles for more forest walks and coastal adventures.
