Cilbrwyn is a 140 year old former gamekeepers residence, situated in a very quiet rural countryside setting, surrounded by 3 acres of waterfalls, lawns, shrubberies and wild woodland. Whilst it is an ideal quiet retreat, Cilbrwyn is also approximately just 15 minutes drive from the M4, and 15 more from main train and bus stations. The Cilbrwyn Estate itself is situated in a quiet part of the Swansea Valley - equidistant from the Brecon Beacons National Park and The Gower Peninsular. Small village-type towns are Pontardawe, Ystalyfera and Ystradgynlais, providing many leisure and sporting facilities. Our first floor balcony has stunning mountain and countryside views, and guests are encourages to take meals outside whenever weather allows. Our large Gazebo is a firm favourite with guests at all times of the year – comfortable ''throws'' and lighting are both available during the cooler time of the year. Cilbrwyn boasts an array of wildlife and rare birds at various times of the year, and all our guests are encouraged to enjoy these amenities -both indoors and outdoors, with the minimum of rules and regulations. Cilbrwyn has been tastefully renovated by Bob over the last 20 years to provide a modern, comfortable ‘family’ environment, and we would wish our guests to enjoy a ‘’home-from-home' feeling.
