Spacious self-contained ground floor annexe with double bed and country views. Kitchenette with fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, electric cooker. Milk, tea and coffee provided. Separate shower, WC, basin and towels provided. Wi-fi and TV (not live). Key box with code for later arrivals. Parking next to entrance. Very peaceful and private location. Footpaths to South Downs and other routes literally on the doorstep. 20 minute country stroll to the Unicorn. 2 bikes available on request (no charge). Secure overnight bike storage available. Please message in advance for any local information. We are on Hoyle Lane, opposite the stables. What3words address: lectures.boost.ferrying.
Chris and Sarah have lived at Long Hoyle for six years. They love the peace and tranquility of living by the South Downs with so many varied walks available in the area. They keep a small flock of Soay sheep and have a friendly dog, Monty. The annexe is ideal for short, peaceful stays. As we are a little remote there are no Ubers and taxis can be an issue. So if you are coming for a wedding, talk to Chris about transport options. He might be able to offer you a lift there and back. In any case, we look forward to welcoming you to Hoyle/Heyshott.
Set in beautiful countryside under the South Downs with numerous walks from the front door. The Unicorn pub is a 20 minute stroll away. There are many excellent country pubs within 5 miles. Graffham has the nearest food shop, but Midhurst has a small Tesco and Sainsbury's and is only 10 minutes in the car. The polo fields at Ambersham are close by, and the Weald and Downland open air museum - home to the Repair Shop - is in Singleton. There's golf at Goodwood and Easebourne and the antique shops of Petworth are worth a visit.
