Flockton lies between Huddersfield and Wakefield approximately 10 minutes from the M1 We have private onsite parking for around 6 cars Only five minutes up the road by car is the phenomenal Yorkshire Sculpture Park , stroll for hours amongst it’s indoor and outdoor exhibits , sit and enjoy a coffee while taking in the breathtaking countryside scenery or enjoy lunch at one of its excellent restaurants ( booking advised ). Only slightly further is the Renowned Hepworth Gallery where you can enjoy displays by Barbara Hepworth herself and many other famous artists . Enjoy fairs , markets and learning programmes throughout the year . Explore the beautiful gardens and lunch in the Hepworth Wakefield cafe . We’re also really handy for the Yorkshire mining museum which is a real treat for all the family . Regular tours of the museum ( including going underground) teach the history of mining in the area .
