Go Eco Glamping is a family business and we live on site, so are always available to help you make the most of your stay.
Our cosy yurts are perfect for spending time together. For special occasions we can provide flowers from a local florist or decorations for a small charge. Please contact us with your requirements.
We took over the business in Spring 2024 and re-opened in August 2024 after extensive renovation. We are excited to share this special, wild place with our guests. We are passionate about the environment and are looking to improve habitat diversity on site, by adding more native trees and plants.
Carol's first job was in a hotel in the Lake District and her family have a background in campsites. She is a keen gardener and also a mosaic artist, creating unique, handmade mosaic pieces which can be seen round the site. Handmade mosaic tables are featured in the yurts. Chris ran a construction company and loves to build interesting structures. Our adult son, Joe, is also very practical - he loves the technology of off-grid living and is also a maker.
Go Eco Glamping is situated in the unspoilt Ceredigion countryside in West Wales, between the stunning Ceredigion Coast with its fabulous beaches and the Cambrian mountains. We are 5 miles from the pretty little university town of Lampeter, with its independent shops and cafes and 11 miles from the lovely harbour village of Aberaeron, named among the top 20 best seaside towns in the UK by Time Out, with its fantastic independent shops, places to eat, galleries and colourful painted houses.
Ceredigion/Cardigan Bay has more than 60 miles (96km) of coast, 30 beaches and a bottle nosed dolphin population of more than 250, the largest population of dolphins in Europe, along with grey seals, harbour porpoises and lots of other marine wildlife. Newquay is a traditional seaside harbour village known for dolphin watching boat tours and its huge, sandy beach. For more peaceful, unspoilt beaches, we love Cei Bach near Newquay, Tresaith with its iconic waterfall right on the beach, and the National Trust beaches at Mwnt and Penbryn, which featured in the top 10 UK walks in the Guardian.
The Cambrian Mountains are an area of outstanding natural beauty, steeped in Welsh culture and history. There are many great walks on the Cambrian mountains website and you can also look on the App Alltrails for more.
Just down the lane, Rachael at Starlight Therapies is an experienced Reiki practitioner and offers both taster and full Reiki sessions, as well as workshops and card readings in a peaceful space on her smallholding. Please contact us if you would like to book a session to enhance your stay.
There is also a riding school nearby, beautiful gardens at Cae Hir, and a bit further away, Roman gold mines at Dolaucothi, steam trains and red kite feeding. We provide more detailed information on activities and places to visit in the guest information folder in each yurt.
