Meall Ard (EST 2021) is our holiday pod which offers the perfect get away for couples and small families. The Pod is located in South Lochboisdale, on the beautiful Isle of South Uist in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland. The pod can comfortably accommodate 3 adults. It features a deluxe small double bed with hotel quality linen and a sofa bed that folds out in to a small double. Additional facilities include a fully equipped kitchenette with a hob, oven, fridge and microwave, and a toilet and shower. Our pod is handmade from high quality timber, is fully insulated and fitted with luxurious underfloor heating – the perfect way to keep cosy even during the harshest of Scottish winters. In milder weather we have an outside decked picnic area where after a day exploring South Uist you can relax and unwind and enjoy the amazing sunsets looking out towards Lochboisdale Marina. Uist and its adjacent Isle of Eriskay feature in the top locations in Scotland to visit – both famous for their scenery, beaches and landscapes that will be sure to take your breath away. We have a welcome book in the pod which details a number of local restaurants, shops, bars and things to do. This can be sent to you prior to your arrival upon request.
