Set in the Norfolk countryside, in the village of East Harling, Merchant Lodge has views out over farmland, a lake and a garden of around 2 acres visited by deer, rabbit and lots of other wildlife. The Lodge provides luxury spacious high-quality accommodation and boasts luxury designer furniture and appliances, with high-speed internet a 70inch TV, his and her robes and an all you can eat continental and full English breakfast with fresh ground coffee.
The village of East Harling is surrounded by quiet lanes, ideal for walking, cycling, and painting and is also home to a Hair Salon, Fish and Chip shop, Bakery, Chinese takeaway, two pubs, small supermarket and butchers. Locally you can keep busy by visiting the English Distillery Whisky Tour, Snetterton Race Circuit, Quidenham Estate Shoot, Banham Zoo, Harling Woods and Thetford Forest. With easy access to the A11, Norwich is only 20 minutes away and a drive to the Norfolk/Suffolk beaches will let you explore country villages on the way.
