We have holidayed here in Paignton for years, love the area so much that we moved from Staffordshire in 2021 We look forward to welcoming all our guests

Merritt Guest House offers quiet family run, friendly accommodation, close to Paignton sea front, harbour and town centre. Our aim is to offer you a rather special stay with unrivalled comfort and delicious breakfasts. Not all of our rooms are listed on here, Check out our Merritt house website for more info and book direct Enjoy a good night’s sleep in one of our seven comfortable bedrooms, all of which have en-suite shower facilities, TV/DVD, complementary toiletries, fluffy towels, well stocked hospitality tray, fan, ironing facilities in every bedroom, super fast WiFi with good connection throughout the house, blackout curtains and more. Merritt House is less than five minutes’ level walk to the bus, mainline and steam railway stations in a quiet street off the main roads, and is on the South West Coast Path. Enjoy the Paignton to Dartmouth steam railway, fishing trips, bay cruises, local golf courses, swimming pool/fitness centre, local 'blue flag' beaches, outdoor tennis courts, and local restaurants/pubs. Walkers, cyclists, diving and sailing enthusiasts are welcome to take advantage of our drying room for boots and other wet gear.
