Parking:
- Parking is available for small to medium sized cars ONLY. Space 7 in the Elbow Lane carpark is located 30m from the apartment front door. Long wheel base vehicles and vans are specifically excluded by the carpark manager. For your own sake, park wholly within the allocated space. Management reserve the right to (and do) wheel clamp any oversized vehicles or vehicles that impede access to the carpark
or other user spaces. Hefty fines apply.
- Alternative parking is also available. The Brook Street car park ( PL19 OHD) offers undercover, all day, parking from 8am to 6pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sundays. Free on street parking is available outside the hours listed above. Carparks within 400m of the apartment offering 24hr parking are: Bedford (PL19 0EA) has a charge, is free overnight and has 4 electric vehicle charging stations. Riverside (PL19 9AZ) ialso has free parking overnight but charges apply during daytime.

A small grocery shop lies on the corner of Elbow Lane and Duke Street, approx.. 50m from the flat. Boots pharmacy and Superdrug are on Duke Street 50m from the flat. A larger Co-op grocery shop is (Elbow Lane then left) lies approx. 200m away on Duke Street. Morrisons, Tesco and Lidl have stores approx. 1 mile away on Plymouth Road.
Recommended local restaurants, cafes or places to go out:
Tavistock has many fine dining establishments. If you have arrived late, directly across from the building’s main door is Birds Nest which offers an extensive range of Chinese, Thai and Malaysian food. Open to 10pm except Tuesdays. Immediately around the corner on Pepper Street is Robertson’s Pizzas, open to 9pm.

- Coach/bus station on Plymouth Road A386, approx. 500m from the flat. Head towards town along Plymouth Road, turn left at Drake Road then right into Barley Market Street.
- The taxi rank is in front of the church on the corner of Drake and West Street, 100m from the flat.
- The train station is 4.5 miles away in Gunislake.
