Monkton court house B&B is a small family run business. We feel our rooms reflect ourselves, relaxed comfortable and friendly. We are situated conveniently on the A30, therefore we are surrounded by lots of things to see and do in Devon. A lot of our guests also use us as a stop off between Cornwall and London as we are in the middle of the journey. We offer a full english breakfast, hot sandwiches or a continental style breakfast, all served to the guest rooms a time of your choice. Each room has its own private entrance. Our car park is gated and has CCTV. All guest rooms have a large TV, with tea and coffee making facilities which includes fresh milk. Honiton is 1 mile away where you will find a variety of restaurants and pubs, and of course there are lots of village pubs around us. However a car or taxi would be needed to get around.

Monkton court house B&B is ideal for travellers on the A30 looking for a bolt hole. Ideally located for the vast amount of things to do, see and visit in Devon. Many of our guests are travelling en route to Cornwall or London and are after a bed for the night to break up the journey as we are located in the middle. Local weddings, business trips, parachute jumps from Dunkeswell airfield, go karting, cycling competitions and Land Rover experiences are but a few of the reasons for a stay here at Monkton court house B&B. We provide comfortable rooms with hi speed internet, tea and coffee facilities and a friendly and relaxed service. Our car park is gated and has CCTV. All of our rooms have private entrances. We accept dogs in all rooms at a small charge, however the Courtyard room is the only room with safe off lead space. Well behaved dogs are welcome here at Monkton Court House however we do ask that they are not left unattended in rooms.

Monkton court house B&B is a privately owned property within the Black down hills which is an area of AONB and the Otter valley. Conveniently situated on the A30 many of our guests are en route to Cornwall from London and enjoy breaking up the drive, many are attending local weddings, travelling for business, enjoying rural and coastal walks. We have many beautiful Devon beaches within a 20 mile radius of the property.
