Our big, bright and spacious room with views of the garden is in our family home. It has its own entrance, which you get to by walking down 2 flights of external stairs into our garden, so that you can come and go as you please and is just a 15 to 20 minute walk into Lyme Regis town centre, the historic Cobb and beaches. We will accommodate late and early check in times when we can. Use our guest space as if it were your own and enjoy our tranquil garden too! No. 12 B & B is a luxury en-suite room for a very comfortable stay in the wonderful town of Lyme Regis. Locally made muesli, fruit, luxury yogurt and refreshments are available for breakfast in your room for you to enjoy at your leisure. There's no need to rush! If you are visiting for business our BT Halo broadband will ensure that you can relax and work at the same time. No12 is perfectly located for access to the South West Coastal Path as well as easy access to River Cottage HQ, the Dorset and Devon coastline and countryside.
No12 is home to our family of 4 plus our cat, Tigo. Our two sons are grown up and they work away alot so come and go. We are very happy to provide information about Lyme Regis, our favourite places to eat and things to do and our favourite walks. We enjoy meeting new people, sharing information and recommendations about the beautiful place where we live and would like to make sure that visitors to Lyme Regis have the best stay possible. Equally so, if you would like privacy during your stay, you have your own key and entrance to your room is private so it's not a problem.
No 12 B & b is in a quiet modern new development. We walk to the town centre usually by the River Lym which is a beautiful flat walk. Our Lyme Regis town gardens and The Cobb are our favourite places to go and we always manage a stop at The Harbour Inn or the KIiosk on the seafront for refreshments. A boat trip in the harbour is a fantastic way to get a different view of Lyme Regis. If it's a rainy day there's still lots to do, you can visit the Town Mill Gallery to see one of the many exhibitions or just enjoy our many independent local shops and cafes. Walking back to our house from the beach and town centre is up hill some of the way but you can have coffee or drinks at The Nags Head pub, which is a good half way stopping point! At the end of our road is the bus stop for buses to Exeter or Weymouth and our local bus that stops around the Town. The bus also goes to Axminster where the train station is for direct train links to London and Penzance. There are taxis in Lyme Regis and their telephone numbers will be given to you when you arrive.
