Nº 46 is a conveniently situated, impressive penthouse apartment in the imposing residential building known as The Salcombe, formerly The Salcombe Hotel. With quite possibly some of the best sea views in Salcombe, and only moments from the main street in town, you get the best of both worlds here.
Like many of the sea facing apartments in The Salcombe, the light here is transcendent, and this is heightened by the creamy paint tones and furniture, the soft furnishings and the lighting. With a studio style layout the room is intersected by a breakfast bar, with a very well-appointed kitchen immediately to the right as you enter the property that makes superb use of the angled space. You’ll find an induction hob with extractor hood, a wall mounted oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, Nespresso machine, and toaster.
Beautifully decorated, there are nautical themes throughout the rooms to give off immediate holiday vibes.
There’s a super sea-facing double bedroom decorated in a gloriously bright and breezy style, as echoed elsewhere in the apartment, with an ensuite bathroom with a shower, double ‘his and her’ wash basins, loo, and heated towel rail. The street facing double bedroom shares a family bathroom with a bath and an over-bath shower with a great twin bedroom that’s perfect for kids, with plenty of room and a wall mounted TV too.
As well as a private parking space, the apartment also benefits from exceptional communal facilities offered exclusively to residents, including a large garden and a heated swimming pool offered exclusively to residents (open between May and September). With regret, we cannot accept children under the age of 8. This apartment does have a lift service but there are a couple of steps down and then up to the apartment in the communal corridor. Therefore we do not class it as suitable for persons of limited mobility.

Salcombe is a charming little town on the bank of what is often described as the prettiest harbour in England. Picture-perfect pastel-coloured houses make up a Positano-like scene overlooking water, sandy beaches and rolling green hills of the surrounding countryside. Salcombe has a uniquely wonderful array of shops ranging from an acclaimed butcher and baker to art galleries selling serious contemporary works and chic boutiques.
Stepping out from N° 46 you are right in the heart of Salcombe, only a few minutes walk from all of the lovely shops restaurants and four great pubs.
The Harbour Hotel is three minutes by foot and has a gorgeous bar and restaurant as well as an award-winning spa with a pool.
Catch the gorgeous little ferry to be on the sandy beaches of East Portlemouth in minutes or stroll almost an exact mile along the coastal path to North Sands and the famous Winking Prawn.
