「The location was fantastic and peaceful, with beautiful views of Loch Sheil. The comfort provided was of a high quality, plenty of space and a lovely log burner as well. Local wildlife was plentiful.」
Number 4 is a 2 bedroom end of terrace cottage nestled on the shores of Loch Shiel in the beautiful historic village of Glenfinnan, some 17 miles west of Fort William along the scenic Road to the Isles. The view from front is spectacular and the rear window view is not bad either!
Glenfinnan is the place to be for Harry Potter fans as the Glenfinnan Viaduct ( The ‘harry Potter Bridge) and the Jacobite Steam Train (Hogwarts Express) are both located here.
Glenfinnan is a part of Scottish history. On 19th August 1745 the Jacobite rising began here when Prince Edward Stewart also affectionately known as Bonnie Prince Charlie, raised his standard on the shores of Loch Shiel, in an attempt to claim the British throne.
All village amenities and all Glenfinnan Tourist attractions are within walking distance.
Two award winning hotels are on your doorstep and both serve beautiful local produce.
