Our self-catering property in Ironbridge boasts a rich history and a prime location just a short walk from the famous Iron Bridge, the world’s first bridge made entirely of cast iron, constructed in 1779. As a key landmark in the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution, the Iron Bridge stands as a testament to the area’s pivotal role in industrial advancements.
Guests staying here can easily explore the Ironbridge Gorge Museums and other historical sites, immersing themselves in the rich heritage of the area. Our property's proximity to the iconic Iron Bridge allows visitors to experience the essence of this UNESCO World Heritage Site, where history and modernity blend seamlessly for a memorable stay.

Number Six townhouse is located in a frontline position with unbeatable views of the famous Iron Bridge, river & town. Located with easy access to all that Ironbridge has to offer, from the quirky shops & cafes, plenty of pubs with lovely food, to the fascinating Museums, 10 at the last count, which wonderfully charts local history and the beginnings of the world’s industrial revolution.
Number Six has stunning views of the historical Iron Bridge spanning England’s longest river ‘The Severn’ this prominent townhouse sleeps six guests in three lovely decorated bedrooms all with ensuite bathrooms.
Number Six is entered through the front door located at street level from Severn Bank which is a lovely & much photographed area of period houses. The hallway & staircase takes you up to the kitchen and main living level of the house.
Ironbridge is also a superb base for exploring this area of Shropshire; there’s Telford, Ludlow, Shrewsbury, Much Wenlock and Bridgnorth to name a few points of interest in the vicinity. Activity centres can be found in Much Wenlock and Condover near Shrewsbury. There’s also horse racing at Ludlow and the National Trust property Attingham Park nearby. If you’re willing to go further afield, Powis Castle, Chirk Castle and Erddig are all within an hour’s drive on the other side of the England-Wales border. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards.
