Step out of the front door and you'll find lots to do in this lovely part of The Ribble Valley. A peaceful retreat yet situated in the bustling centre of 'oh-so-popular Whalley' There's an array of great bars, restaurants and coffee shops to choose from all within a few strides from the cottage.
If you love to shop, the boutiques all have their own unique style and for that special occasion, if your attending a wedding locally I would be happy to arrange appointments at one of the local salons if your not familiar with the area.... many weddings and events take place in the nearby area due to its great location and superb venues. This is a home stay that exudes charm. If peace and quiet, rolling countryside, idyllic villages and a stunningly pretty retreat is what you're after, look no further than this fabulous luxury homestay. The natural beauty of this area is astounding and ideal for walking, cycling and horse riding. well worth a visit with unique independent shops as well as a deli, butchers, fabulous restaurants gastropubs and bars all just a few strides from your door exploring the beautiful Ribble Valley and Trough of Bowland and all its historical sights such as Whalley Abbey and the market town of Clitheroe where you can take a walk round the Castle. The popular Grand theatre hosts regular events and local pubs often have live bands on.
