A very warm welcome to Old Church House. A family run Bed and Breakfast in the heart of old Newport – the island’s transport hub. We are a family run B&B We are only one block away from the High Street in a surprisingly quiet corner of town with ample guest parking to the rear. The room is fresh and simply furnished with (we hope) everything you will need. Breakfast is a choice of traditional cooked or Continental served in the South facing Dining Room. For evening meals there are plenty of good pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance. The room is equipped with TV/DVD player and there is a good supply of films and books for you to borrow. Free Wi-Fi access is available. Newport is the Capital and County Town of the Isle of Wight, situated in the middle of the island at the hub of the road and bus network. All parts of the island are within 30mins. drive or accessible by bus from the central Bus Station which is 5 minutes walk from us. Whether you are here on business or pleasure we look forward to making your stay a happy one. We are excellently located for exploring the island on foot or by bicycle.

Newport is the capital and county town of the Isle of Wight and has most of the shops you would find on North Island. There are a few good pubs - our favorite is the Newport Ale House that is tiny, just round the corner.
