The lodge is a single storey two room building with one en-suite bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room. There is a log burner in the living room and the lodge is located in the Cheshire countryside. We run a small livery yard so the horses and owners may be about during your stay. We have two stables for holiday livery so you are welcome to bring your own horse. We are close to Somerford Park Farm; Kelsall Hill, the Cheshire Cycleway (cycle storage available) Clonter Opera, Little Moreton Hall, Jodrell Bank, Chatsworth; the Peak District, the Potteries, Alton Towers, Manchester; The Trafford Centre and Chester.
We live just across the farmyard so are available if needed.
Located in the Cheshire countryside some 5 miles from Congleton and 5 miles from Holmes Chapel we are within walking distance of two country pubs and wonderful country walks. We are approximately 16 miles from Manchester Airport and within easy reach of the Peak District, Manchester, Chester and the Potteries. The nearest supermarket is 5 miles distant in Congleton. You will need a car or bike as we are located in a rural area with no public transport. A car is recommended, unless cycling as we are in a rural area.
