A private enclosed terrace, visitors are welcome to use the dome on the island during there visit, we have ducks and a resident swan called George. There is a welcome pack included with all the essentials you will need - bread, milk, butter, jams, juice, tea, coffee and biscuits in the hut for your arrival. Bed linen & towels included. Owners live on site. please note the BBQ hut only available by prior arrangement)
My name is Jan and I am a keen equestrian having horses on the property that I regularly compete in dressage , visitors can view the horses in the fields from the shepherds hut
Alton towers is 30 minutes away by car and also Trentham gardens which has a lovely selection of amazing shops and garden centre. There is a Indian restaurant 5 minutes walking distance and a Italian restaurant, 5 minutes drive away , Fulford which is 5 minutes drive away has a lovely local pub and the food is very good , especially Sunday lunch. Peak district is approximately 30-45minutes drive with access to some lovely areas for walking and sightseeing.
